The Limpopo Baobab Classic (LBC)

The Vision
Limpopo, a province characterized by high youth unemployment and limited access to sports infrastructure, presents a unique opportunity for growth. This initiative seeks to establish golf courses, driving ranges, and training facilities, particularly in rural areas, to make the sport accessible to all. Through structured training programs, the initiative will equip youth with skills in golf playing, coaching, and course management, fostering a new generation of talent while creating pathways to employment.

Strategic Objectives
Secure land for the development of golf courses and training facilities through partnerships with municipalities, traditional councils, schools, colleges, universities and private landowners. Mobilise and solicit financial and human resources from strategic investment partners including public and private entities.
